testing times
Ok we've not a big bike company. We think that’s a good thing, we can be radical, flexible and adapt quickly to new ideas, but it does mean we haven’t got a huge R&D centre running hours and hours of testing.
So our answer to the men in white lab coats is go back to basics and draft in some well know bike industry ‘raggers’ and ask them to ‘break our frames’. You know the types, nice blokes but you'd never lend your bike.
It’s simple and ultimately brutal but an effective way of improving our designs and making sure they won’t break. We should add no animals are hurt during this testing.
Our destination for our first Kingdom Bike test is Lagos in Portugal.
We could say we chose this destination as it has the perfect mix of trail riding and volcanic ‘downhill Lite’, to fully test our Legion two in 1 concept, but actually we choose it as it’s supposed to be warm.
As well as letting you know exactly how our frames ride (good or bad), we’ll also give you an insight into the local trails where we tested the bikes, tell you about the riding and also any local guiding opportunities or tours in the area.
So watch this space for our first test report on the Legion and the Vendetta frames.
